guys – i forgot my wp password and took ages to reset it, which made this post like 3 DAYS LATE. but anyway, i decided to do something a little informal today, and i saw heidi @heidilane do a similar post, so let’s discuss our favourite autumn things<333 i had this awful dream that autumn was cancelled, so i guess that also helped this post lol
1. LEAVES!!
i loveeee autumn leaves sm. i used to live in an area where there were trees everywhere (therefore autumn leaves everywhere) and it was such a yearly thing where the first time you jump in leaves, the first autumn leaf picture, and the first walk is something i remember. now i live in a place with more evergreen trees – which, literally abolish evergreen trees. the only reason we need trees is to watch their leaves go all gorgeous and colourful, and you want to have one that doesn’t do that? straight to jail. but anyway, i think in the autumn i hate going out in the cold but leaves motivate me to go outside lol
2. GILMORE GIRLS<33
gilmore girls is one of my favourite shows ever and the autumn energy is one of my favourite things about it. honestly, i think the first few seasons are more autumn energy, and rory just goes off the rails in season 4 onwards, so i usually just rewatch the first seasons lol. but stars hollow is such an autumn place and lorelai and rory are such autumn people, and the whole show just screams comfort. i watched it for the first time in autumn last year, and since then i have been OBSESSED and i didn’t even realise it was supposed to be an autumn show – but in hindsight i’m so glad i watched it then and not in like, summer or something.
3. PUMPKIN SPICE
i’ve started not liking starbucks as much as usual recently but their pumpkin spice drinks will always be unmatched. like, i love the latte as well but in my opinion the frappuccino is better because you can taste it more. also, the cake pops they have this year>>>>
my favourite starbucks order right now is pumpkin spice frappuccino (grande ofc 😉), and a chocolate or biscuit cake pop. i love pink but their birthday cake flavour just isn’t good according to me (and my opinion is law, so let’s start a petition to replace it with like, a cinnamon flavour maybe?)
4. SCHOOL LOL
to be honest, school is just 10 times better in autumn. like, school on rainy days hits different and i love bringing in hot drinks in a thermos. i also love watching rain on school windows and walking class to class in the rain is always so fun. also i love the sound of thunder. school is so fun during autumn tbh.
5. BLOGTOBER
of course blogtober is one of my favourite things about autumn. i love posting every day (when i remember my password.) and i love responding to comments and what you guys are saying everyday<3 it’s something i look forward to each year!
ok guys, that’s all for this post – but not all for today, because i have the post for friday and saturday that i still need to write, edit, and post. yay
